    U2 360 DVD Release

U2360° At The Rose Bowl will be released on DVD and Blu-ray by Mercury Records on June 7, 2010.

U2360° At The Rose Bowl was the penultimate gig of last year’s U2360° tour in support of their Grammy nominated album No Line on The Horizon. The Rose Bowl performance was the band’s biggest show of 2009 and U2’s biggest ever US show, with a live audience in excess of 97,000. The show was also streamed across seven continents via YouTube. The first ever live streaming of a full-length stadium concert, U2360° at the Rose Bowl had over 10 million views on the channel in one week.

Shot entirely in HD, the concert was filmed with 27 cameras and directed by Tom Krueger who had previously worked on U23D, the first live action 3D concert movie taken from U2’s Vertigo Tour.

Available in standard and 2 disc deluxe DVD formats, U2360° At The Rose Bowl will also be U2’s first concert available in Blu–ray. The deluxe formats and the Blu-ray will feature a new documentary called Squaring the Circle: Creating U2360°, with new interviews from U2, Paul McGuinness and the team behind the touring production. Full format information is available at http://www.u2.com.

The ground breaking U2360° tour continues this year, with the US leg opening in Salt Lake City on June 3, and the European leg opening in Turin, Italy on August 6.

U2 will headline Glastonbury on June 25th.

    Justin Bieber news

US Teen sensation Justin Bieber is set to release a new single entitled ‘Baby’, release date March 15th.   This is the newest release from his forthcoming second album, ‘My Worlds’ and features rapper Ludacris.

MY WORLDS is the follow up to his UK top 5 selling debut ‘My World’.

Born in Stratford, Ontario, Justin Bieber is a multi-talented pop/soul singer, and a self-taught musician on drums, guitar, piano, and trumpet.  His manager Scooter Braun introduced Justin to the music industry in Atlanta two years ago.  There he met multi-platinum superstar Usher, who signed the 13 year-old to his first professional deal and formed the RBMG joint-venture label with Braun and Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group.

In the US, MY WORLD crossed the RIAA platinum line in just seven weeks, for sales in excess of 1 million units. Justin is also the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 prior to his album’s release.

With his poptastic blend of urban pop, Justin Bieber has exploded as a global new media star, with over 100 Million YouTube video views (the first 10 million of them as an amateur, posting his own renditions of favourite songs by Ne-Yo, Stevie Wonder and Usher).  From singing in front of President Obama to shutting down malls with hoards of screaming fans, 2009 introduced the world to its next pop sensation and in 2010 Justin doesn’t plan to slow down.

After just 36 hours of premiering an acoustic version of the track on YouTube, Baby became the #1 most viewed music video worldwide and has since been viewed 5 million times in only a month.

Now plans call for MY WORLDS to be issued on March 22nd.  Baby is the first new track to be released from that upcoming CD.
